Do you have anymore info on Perifosine? I have not heard about this drug is this chemo? Pill? Hope your husband is doing  well on this drug. I also read a few people are on Rexin-G and it seems to be doing it's job.

My husband's study drug Perifisone has been Stopped!! The Drug did not work for his Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer. We both are very heart broken, he had high hope this would work. He took for 4 weeks, had Tumor Marker done and it was higher. I ask doctor if he had another patient doing this study? and he said NO. This type cancer is a fast growing & spreading cancer and it hard to treat, if any.  I am using comfort care with him at home, this is what he wants and I do to. I know for all of you that have been through this "IT'S a bad painful thing. I feel like all the things we have been through for the last 6 mos would be much harder if I hadn't had this Board to read and talk to . I .like many just sit and read, looking for answers, something to help us. Please keep us in your prayers, we are taking one day at a time, keeping our faith. All we have is GOD.

Libby01 sorry to read the drug is not working everytime we hear about something new we hope it works on anyone. If one person can beat this then others might. My mother is also not in a good place with PC right now and it's breaking my heart.
I'm not sure right now if all we have is God, stand true for us, boy have I been praying no help here. I guess we think/believe miracles do, can happen. Would love to receive one and spread the word. But as I see it we are are not on the miracle list. Anyway I wish you guys the best!
