Need opinion on an alternative combined treatment

Hi to all of you

I wish you and your dearest ones radiant health, love and joy.

My girlfriend has been treated with chemotherapy (carboplatin and Gemzar) for 2 years now, for a poorly differentiated stage IV cancer (best doctors guess : ovarian adenocarcinom).

After the first round of 8 months and 11 rounds of chemo she enjoyed 8 months of remission and then a recurrence. Five more rouns of chemo and CA 125, CA 19-9 and ACE went back to normal. The scans are ok and the doctor decided to discontinue the treatment to see what happens.

We want by no way to get back into another recurrence. So we are exploring every ways to keep her cancer free.

After weeks of research, and a lot of readings on herbal and mind body therapies, we are planning to start next week a program including :

- Paw Paw Cell Reg (4 caps a day)

- Artemisinin (100 mg perday, for 3 days every 2 weeks)

- Astragalus extract (eq : 8g/day)

- Coriolus versicolor VPS (625 mg caps, 3 per day) and/or maitake gold (10 drops a day)

We are also thinking about IP-6, capsaicin, turmeric, bromelain and aloe barbadensis.

+ hypnotherapy (I am learning) and meditation

Before starting this consolidation program, and having checked a lot of the messages we would deeply thank those of you whom would be kind to provide us with their insights with this kind of combination or experiences with one or the other of these products.

Thanks in advance

Hi , my husband suffers from stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to the lungs and brain, he under went chemo for 2 years now and was expected to be dead by now. I started resurching holistic treatments and even talked with a dr. from canada.
I started taking my husband to the center for human functioning and development 6 weeks ago and he has made a 60 % improvement on energy and totally well being, they are treating him with IV vit C treatments 3 times a week and the total change in him is like a miracle. The clinic feels that we have a strong chance of getting him into remision, i strongly advise everyone to research this treatment as i have because with out it i would be a widow by now. www.brightspot.org awsome clinic and awsome results with his termenal cancer diagnosis. good luck

My hubby, 66, was low stage 3 colon cancer, after surgery we are also trying natural things. He is taking Avemar, Essiac Tea, CoQ10, Vitamin C, flax oil in cottage cheese in addition to some of what you mentioned. Mushroom extract is supposed to be good also. I am checking into the Paw Paw. We also use reflexology massaging his feet. He looks great and is working right now. Prayers, Janet

Hello cancer fighter...Wonderful news!!!!!! and thank you for posting it. I go to a clinic which offers this natural treatment and the results they are having with a variety of cancers, yes some even declared terminal by the oncologists, is absolutely amazing. The sad thing is, this has been happening in alternative medicine for years but has been poo pooed and even denied by mainstream medicine. One can only imagine the numbers of people who have died in vain because of this denial and head in the sand attitude. Sadly it is still going on. The brightspot.org website you mentioned is a very informative source but still many will disclaim anything reported there since it supports alternative medicine. The following one may carry more weight with some since it is a report by the Canadian Medical Association Journal. http://www.medpagetoday.com/HematologyOncology/ OtherCancers/tb/2938 I have a friend who was given less than a month to live because of terminal prostate cancer. It had spread into every organ and bone throughout his body. Now more than ten months later....no sign of cancer anywhere. This along with several other natural treatments saved him and healed him. Keep doing what you are doing is what the oncologists are now telling him. I am so glad it is working for your husband too!

Still researching for dad ....he's pretty set on starting chemo on the 12th as he has NSCLCIIIB and he has a lymph node supraclavicular tht is growing and he's scared it will infringe on his breathing/speach.. looking at alternatives to go along with chemo ...or to do if chemo doesn't go well. Do you know of any others with a tumor in upper lung (2.3cm) and spread to lymph nodes at base of neck?He is having more tests this week to get update.looking for similar cases ..and outcomes??? appreciate your thoughts! Hi Shannon I go to a clinic in Ontario Canada. It is headed by a medical doctor who began his career as a geneticist, went on to become a medical doctor, and after a few years of practicing traditional medicine, he became very discouraged by the ineffectiveness and often destructiveness of many of the treatments he'd been taught to give so he studied further and now practices alternative medicine. I did have tumor involvement in both lungs as well as one huge one (approx 10cmx10cm) in the chest which caused the collapse of the center lobe of my right lung, As well I had a cancerous lymph node on my heart. The tumors were inoperable. Chemo can be very destructive which can make it almost impossible for alternative treatments to be effective once the damage has been done. Still I do know of cases where there has been a turnaround. If your dad is set on taking traditional treatments then I would suggest you look into Avemar which is showing good results when used along with chemotherapy. From what I have read it boosts the immune system and helps to protect one's system from the side effects of the chemo. I personally use it to help keep my immune system working at an optimum level. Here is some information on it and if the board allows I will add a few informative websites. __________________________________ In clinical cancer trials, Avemar was shown to reduce the progression of disease in patients with head and neck cancers, colorectal cancer, and malignant melanoma of the skin. The quality of life of patients with breast cancer or lung cancer improved significantly (P < 0.05) after supportive treatment with Avemar: improvements in the global state of health and fatigue were observed in lung cancer patients, and improvements in physical and emotional function, the global state of health, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, insomnia, and constipation were observed in breast cancer patients. Clinical studies of the efficacy of Avemar in the treatment of other cancers are ongoing. However, observational data indicate that this wheat germ extract has favorable effects on ovarian cancer, gastric cancer, thyroid cancer, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. "The therapeutic spectrum of Avemar is much wider than it had been thought some years ago." Avemar (Wheat Germ Extract) Avemar is the new wonder-alternative cancer treatment / adjuvant therapy for boosting the immune system and fighting cancer. "Research at UCLA has demonstrated that Avemar reduces glucose flow into the cancer cells.  Cancer cells can evade NK [natural killer] cells by masking their outer membrane with a special substance that the NK cells recognize as 'normal.'  Avemar suppresses the release of this masking substance -- allowing NK cells to better target and kill the cancer cells."  Avemar's immune-stimulating ability appears to be so powerful that it can be useful in helping to restore even the most severely compromised immune systems. ___________________________________ Sorry... I have had to remove the websites in order to get this message to post. I don't understand why this is happening so often. If you would like the information I attempted to post please send me a private message. Shemay

See my Give Paw Paw a try! message.  I think you are on the right track.  I would also recommend probiotics (they are so important to immune function and digestion), Thisilyn (for liver support), and enzymes.

God bless.
