Circular Blotches On Skin And Swelling Of Joints

Subject: Circular Blotches on Skin and Swelling of Joints
Date: 03/23/2005
Hi:

My son is 18 years old. He gets these swellings and red blotches all over his chest and hands. The doctors seem to think it's allegries and gave him Zyrtex. Is there anyone out there that know of this kind of problem?
The blotches are mostly circular.

Does your son still have the blotches? What was his final diagnoses?
Mine seem to be spreading.
