Subject: Severe Skin Rash Iressa...treatments That Work?
Date: 03/25/2005
Hello All: My father is taking Iressa following his lung removal and has been taking it for almost two years on and off. He is experiencing terrible skins rashes all over his body and scratches until he bleeds. We've tried all sorts of creams and aloes and dermatologist recommended salves, but nothing seems to work....has anyone found any miracle cure to this terrible skin rash?
thanks
Subject: Iressa and Rash
Date: 04/18/2005
Hello, I started taking Iressa Nov. of 2003, when I started it I had a slight rash on my back. Last month I broke out in a rash from my ankles to my neck, I too have tried all ointments, creams and powders'along with Allegra that my Dr perscribed for me, and NOTHING helps. I have blood over my cloths, bedcloths and sometimes I feel it will drive me crazy.

Band-Aid has a campher anti -itch cream - I have
found it very helpful! I also find that the rash I have on
my ankles and feet respond well to socks used to
soften your feet at night. Lotion or cream can be used
with the socks; while it doesn't get rid of the problem it
helps to calm those rash discomforts that could drive
one mad!

good luck!
