Hello,My dad has cns lymphoma in his brain. It took them about 4 months diagnose him. Now that we have the diagnosis he is being treated with chemo. He goes every other week to receive chemo and he must stay in the hospital for 4 days, this will go on for 2 months. Then he will receive chemo once a month for about 1 yr. The dr's say there is a cure for this cancer. Google: lisa deangelis cns lymphoma. This cancer commonly affects hiv positive people and is rare in healthy people. Is your brother otherwise healthy? My brother is mentally disabled as well as now physically. Other than that, the worst he's had is the flu. He has gone through 6 Rituxan sessions and no he's not walking again, He is incontinent........as in no rhyme or reason to when he goes, sometimes 7 or 8 times a day. He's not eating much and is sleeping alot but yet I keep hearing that this is cureable. I just dont understand.
