Hello to all
i was wondering just how soon after your LEEP did you all have sex.
For me i was told to wait 4 weeks and i don't know what got into me but i failed i waited until the end of the 3 weeks begining of the 4 week.
i feel like i am in trouble. i hope i didn't screw anything up. we tried to be very gentle.
Please let me know. So i can feel a little better. came real close to calling doctor to let her know.

I just had my LEEP, and I was told to wait just 2 weeks before having sex. Everything I have read says 4 weeks, so I am not sure. I also read that you're not supposed to have your period when you have the procedure, and I had mine, and the doc did it anyway. I guess if you are feeling ok, and did not have a recurrence of bleeding or pain, them you were probably close enough for it to be ok. Let me know if you find out any different. Did you get your results back yet?

Thanks for your info. yes i did get my resluts CIN II confirmed and surronding areas look good and they said they got rid of everything they needed to get rid of. my doc said 4 weeks and i to have heard anywhere from 2-4 weeks after LEEP. i had no bleeding and hardly any cramping just the day of. still have the pinkish brown dischargebut getting better everyday!! were you put under for the procedure? i have heard if you only had to take some IBP 600mg that you could have sex 2 weeks after because they didn't have to take away so much of the cervix. That seems to be the case with the research i have done the deeper and more tissue the longer you wait. makes sense.
Hope all is well with you. Thanks for the reply.
