Hi, I was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma Sept. 29, 2004. I started on R-CHOP chemo the secound week of Oct. My first recommendation would to get a Port A Cath. It was a god send! I had infusions on Mon. & Tues. every three weeks for 6 weeks. I then had more PET and CT scans that showed it wasn't all gone, so I had to have 2 more cycles. I am happy to say that I am now in remission...knock on wood. I go for my 3 month check-up 2st week of August. Please let me know any specific questions you may have. I'd love to try and help!

Hi:

Have had NHL for ten years. I am 51. Have been through much chemo, radiation, zebulan ect. The last large dose of chemo about 6 weeks ago effected my heart and now cancer was found in my breast that is large cell.
I am going in for a scan Monday Dec. 19th and then the Doctor will give me the results.
At this point I have so much pain in my left shoulder and arm and with the total fatige I can do very little.
My childern are 12-14 and 17 so they help a lot.

I have been going to a medical center here in Duluth Minnesota and have an excellent oncologist who I have much trust in but in that only a short time about a month after the zeblun ect. I now have develpoed breast cancer which I understand is more of an aggresive type-large cell.

I have been considering going to the Cancer Center of America in Zion, Il.

Before I decide on going there I want to see what my scan shows and what action will be taken.

I am also interested in ANY info on BEXXAR and IP6 with INOSITOL and what results of it that you are aware of.

I know I am I am in a fight for my life but I do have total family support, faith in my Oncologist and TOTAL FAITH IN the LORD and always think POSITIVE. I do plan on talking to the Oncology Specalist at Cancer Center of America as soon as I get the results of my scan which should be on Wed.

Hope to hear from you soon.

THANKS MUCH.

Debbie
