Bile Duct Cancer Free

Seven months ago, only days after being diagnosed with terminal bile duct cancer that had consumed over 75-80% of her liver, my wife Cindy asked, "When God grants me my miracle I want you to do me one favor." 

With tears in my eyes I answer, "Anything!"

With full confidence that somehow, somewhere, God was going to have that massive, foot long tumor removed completely from her body, she proceeded to ask,  "Make me a website to give others HOPE."

Neill...you created a nice web site (cindysmiracle.com)...unfortunately it is very misleading. I am very surprised Dr. Jerome Canady is associated with this it.  Oh yes I know all about liver cancer, Bile duct cancer, it is a living help for the person that has it and the care giver. For your information there are other doctor's in the Country that does surgery for bile duct cancer and saves lives...not just doctor Canady.  If you want to help people...tell them the real story and what to expect, your wife was given 6 months...she was lucky, my wife was given 6 weeks.  Oh yes, she is doing well thanks the two great surgeons at the UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco. 

I wish your wife well for now and in the future....I really wonder what your agenda is...a book or a movie or just spreading your faith around.

I plan to contact Doctor Canady and AMA with regard to these issues. If Dr. Canady is agreeing to have his name used in this manner, I totally disappointed in him as a cancer liver surgeon. I really don't understand hi motive, your's I do.

Hi, Leonard, I am very happy for your wife and her health, but you got some nerve the way that you came so rudely at the Russell Family.  They are only speaking about the Dr that was able to help them.  This is a message board for support and encouragement.  If you dont know Dr Canady, nor if he hasn't done anything for or tp you, just keep praising the Dr's that were able to do such good things for your wife. You had something positive to say about your wife and her Dr's and that is great.  So know we know that there are more great Dr's in the world.  You never know what a person is going through 100% until you walk a mile in their shoes.  When cancer has traveld beyond certain area's, sometimes Dr's are limited to what they can do.  Then you do what you feel is best.  My mother has cancer and was given 3-4 months to live last year.  She told her doctor that she would just think positive and since he couldn't help her she would go elsewhere.  He also told her, that if she makes it, that he would hang himself because he was just that sure that she would die fast. She is still here and is doing a little bit better thanks to the great Dr's at Barnes Jewish Hospital.  My family is very thankful for all there help, but since we have heard good things about Dr Canady, we feel it is time to search more options. Dr Canady isn't able to operate on the whole world, so maybe in your spare time, you can create a website like Cindy and Neil about the Dr's that were so great to your wife so we can rejoice and be happy with you. Dr Canady called me the day before Thanksgiving  and asked how my mother was doing and we discussed her health.  I am a nurse, and even though it hurts to say, there are many backbitting and evil doctors in the world, but there are also some good ones that are still out there.  For a person to only wake up and open their eyes in the morning is a blessing, please count yours, and I hope you remain blessed.

Thank you for your input, I respect your opinion.  You completely misunderstood my comment.  I also respect Dr. J. Canady and all the great work he is doing...the issue is not with Dr. Canady...the issue is with the Russells and their message.  And yes I also understand the purpose of this message board (support, encouragement, hope and truth) but not through voices or visions.  In my opinion the Russells are misleading folks to believe in something beyond the medical institutions...if this is what they believe, hearing voices etc.etc. they should keep it to themselves and not give people false hope...that is misleading. If I offened you and/or any other person regarding this matter, I apologize and thank you for bring it to my attention.  Don't be surprised if you see the Russells spreading their story on via the media.

Thank you for responding, I wasn't talking about the hearing voices part, I didn't even remember reading or listening to that part, or I just dont remember. I was just so happy that people were being given a second chance and thought about my mother. My mother has never drank nor smoke and she was wondering how in the world could thid happen to me.  Things just happen that we have no controll over sometimes, and when they do, hearing other people stories like Cindy's and your wifes are very encouraging. I think that if you search hard enough, that you can convince yourself to do things according to how you feel.  Sometimes I feel you can ask yourself a question or someone can tell you something or you can hear something that you play back and remember the conversation or just play back things in your mind, I dont consider myself hearing voices, that is just memorization of certain events, if that makes any since to you. I hope I have not confused you. Even though I do not know you or your wife I really am happy for her.  At night, I pray not only for my family but others as well.  I pray all the time for Unity as Christ wants it to be, people obeying the Gospel, world peace, our government leaders making right decisions, and cures for sick people in general, not only for my mother but for others as well.  My prayers are that Dr Canady will be able to help not only my mother but other people as well.  Please, it would be real nice if you would out your wife story on here because sometimes people need to hear about others going through the same thing. P.S. What were the names of your wifes Dr's and what hospital.  Sounds like pretty talented men.
