Avastin And Rcc

does anyone have any info on avastin and advanced renal cell carcinoma? my husband has had 2 doses and next week will receive his 3rd. he is 47, diagnosed 8/06 with stage 4 they removed his left kidney and have tried every new drug out there.he is currently on avastin,and nexavar.

hi ther Pat--we ahve a wonderful group of rcc people and all dialogue with each other about all the problems and drugs of rcc if you would like to look inot this group--a lady named Mary  Trent puts together a newsletter nightly when she can--na dwe all just write in and she combines it all it has been so helpful and it is really great to discuss side effects and worries with ones who are going thru the same thing so you don't feel so isolated so many are on the smae drugs and there are some who have just been put on avastin and the new drug torisel--my hubby has done 8 cycles of sutent with good results--didn't have good luck with the nexavar--if you would like the email address of our group please email me in a private reply Peace, sue
