Bile Duct Cancer And Psc

My husband has just been diagnosed w/ Bile Duct Cancer due to PSC. We are looking for anyone who has had this and been treated.  We are also looking for anyone who has taken Chinese Herbs to heal cancer.

Forgive may direct to the point comment.  If your husband was diagnosed with bile duct cancer...stop dreaming and wishing for a magic cure...dump the herbs and get him ASAP to a qualified doctor specializing in liver issues and bile duct cancer.  Bile Duct Cancer is very serious business.

I have had Bile Duct Cancer at age 38, it will be two years this March, I had a great Surgeon in Dallas TX - Dr. Jeyarajah.  He resectioned my Bile Duct.  (Im not sure what PSC is) But I had a "cyst" in my Bile Duct, very painful and it took a while to get diagnosed.  When they resectioned the Bile duct the cyst was cancerous, several lymph nodes were checked and did not appear to have cancer.   I know finding any information on Bile Duct Cancer is hard and the outcome is not usually positive.  The surgery was very radical, but I know this type of cancer can spread quickly and all over.    A single mother of three daughters, I thank god for my surgeon and I appear to be cancer free still (Liver Function Tests regularly).  Don't sit around waiting on Chineese Herbs... you need surgery..Good Luck! I had Bile buct cancer and they talked about PSC but I was never diagnosed with PSC but had some scarring. 

When I was first told I had cancer I wanted all the herbs and potions, there is probably nothing wrong with them but IMHO they are not the answer, cut the tumor out its the only answer.

Primary Sclorcing Cholangitis...I'm sorry, I know the spelling is not correct. It is a disease of the bile ducts which often leads to bile duct cancer.
