For the last 3 months I have been sick quite frequently, and the two of the times EXTREMELY sore throat, and just all around sick. The doctor believed it was strep throat, but the tests came up negative, so they treated it with antibiotics and i started feeling better soon. However, in the last couple weeks, I have noticed that my lymph nodes on my neck are growing. I first started feeling lumps on the sides of my neck, and now I can probably count about 10 painless lumps (all about pea sized up and down my neck from right above the clavicle extending upwards, except for one which is about the size of a quarter right under my jaw back by my ear). The doctor thought they were just swollen from the sicknesses that i have had, however, they are still growing, the two biggest ones are starting to concern me a little bit. Doing research online has brought up a lot of results on lymphoma? I don't know if I am just being paranoid, but i'm wondering if all the sicknesses these past few months could be tied in to the possibility of cancer. I am never sick, and to be getting sick this much, and now having fairly large lumps in my neck, I just wanted to check it out! Let me know what you think... I'm just a student in college, and I won't have time until finals are over to go back to the doctor, so i was wanting to get some advice now. Thanks!
