Subject: Cancer of Unknown Primary
Date: 04/07/2005
I have just been diagnosed with a malignant tumor on the lymph node in the left groin. I have had every test for a primary site but nothing shows up.My Doctor suggests radiation to remove the lump, and then constant screening. Can anyone tell me what to expect in the future. I am 73 yrs old and in relatively good health.

Cancer of unknown primary.
The webpage for cupprint is simply www.cupprint.com

The test is performed in amsterdam in the netherlands after shipping a small sample from your pathologist. My friend's problem was quickly identified as ovarian cancer by the test. Had we known earlier she could have been saved from a long and cumbersom odyssee through all kinds of hightech machines with no conclusive results......

Now we are hoping that the specific treatment yields better results than standard......
Subject: Ovarian Neuroendocrine Carcinoma
Date: 06/27/2005
In the past three weeks I experienced severe abdominal bloating, 15 hours in the emergency room, many, many tests. I had surgery to remove what was "pretty sure " to be an ovarian cyst. Removed was a 27 centimeter neuroendocrine carcinoma- plus 4 other growths attached to my ovaries and in my abdomen. I had one lympth node in the area test positive. Next week I will have a octreotide test. I have moved past crying and freaking out- to trying to understand more.
Does anyone have information on this type of cancer attaching to the ovaries? I am told that it is very rare- the drs. feel that it may not have originated there (which does scare me).

Thanks to all who responded to my previous message. I have since had surgery and they removed six lymph nodes from my groin. it was metastatic carcinoma but they say they got it all but still don't know the primary site. I have had every test but still no answers. The last C125 blood test had a count of 48 (I don't know what that means?) My doctor says he will see me in three months so all seems well. BUT do I have a hidden cancer waiting to surface or am I free of it? My doctor did not think it was neccessary to try Cupprint. I am eating healthy to boost my immune system (ovo-lacto vegetarian).Good luck to you all.

Dear Karens,
I don't know what the ocreotide test is but I hope it goes well for you. I do know how scary it is to be told Unknown primary site. That leaves you wondering, and not knowing what to expect. I had tumors removed from the lymph nodes in my groin. Apparently everything drains through the lymphatic system. They can't find my primary cancer. So I am thinking positive and hoping it has disolved somehow. Let me know how your test goes. Best of luck to you.
