I had a LEEP done on November 13 for CIN III severe dysplasia. I had some mild bleeding ever sincethe procedure, nothing major. Yesterday it seemed as though the bleeding had stopped.
This morning, as I was leaving work, it felt as though my period had resumed, maybe a little heavy. I came home, and the bleeding really picked up. I was using a tampon (not supposed to yet-oops!) and a pad, and was completely soaking through every 15 minutes for almost 2 hrs with many 1/2 dollar sized clots. I went to the dr.'s office, and things finally started to slow down The dr said that it was because i was doing too much. I have been back at work since 2 nights after the procedure, without any real problems. Last night was a little busy, and I regularly do a lot of lifting and pulling in my job (I work in a hospital). I have tried to take it easy today, but with 4 kids, 2 Girl Scout troops to run, work, etc. it is not easy. Has anyone had this problem? The procedure was over 2 weeks ago-I assumed things would be ok by now. Aside from still being a little sore there, I have not had any other problems.
Thankfully my biopsy from the LEEP cam back ok, and I just have to go back every 3months. Next thing I have to deal with though is a rectocele and a cystocele procedure (has anyone had these done? The recovery looks kind of tough-I will be having a ventral hernia repair at the same time)
