Hi Benson---My 70 year old husband is having RT -13 treatments so far--he was told by 2 Drs. he shouldn't have surgery because of his age and Parkinsons--we also went to see an alternitive med. Dr.---- he said vitamin C IV would be good and put him on a vitamin program---I asked the RT Dr---he said no mega doses of antioxcidants---I don't know who to believe  Linda

Hi Linda,

Thanks for your reply. I cannot read you whole message as it seems to be edited or shortened to fit a certain area. I complained to the administrator.

I am planning to take high dose IV C therapy but first wanted to know if anyone had any experinces with it. I would be happy to share my experience with you after I have it.

Would you please re-send your message to me again privately so that I can see the full text.

Consult with another doctor. Try Perlmutter Health Center in Naples Florida, Hackethal MD at Medical Alliance Associates in California, Central Park Naturopathic in Vancouver BC.  These centers also have Parkinson treatments.  Google search for contact info.

Hello Benson I take intravenous Vitamin C treatments at a medical clinic and I and many many others there with a variety of cancers have had excellent results. The quickest turnaround and cure came about in a patient, a friend of mine who presented with terminal prostate cancer. He had been told by his oncologists that he had only a few weeks to live. I posted his message on this board early in 2007. It is now over a year later and he is still cancer free. If you can't find the post under prostate cancer send me a private message. Here are some websites which will give you good information regarding this gentle and effective treatment and if you would like to learn more about my personal experience let me know_______ http://www.medpagetoday.com/HematologyOncology/OtherCancers/ http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/30584.php http://www.alternativehealth.co.nz/cancer/vitamins/vitc.htm http://orthomolecular.org/resources/omns/v01n09.shtml http://www.doctoryourself.com/riordan1.htm ________

Doctors are not Gods Linda. They do the best they can hopefully to keep up to date but no one knows everything. I understand your not wanting to do anything to upset the doctor. I was raised holding the medical profession in such high esteem that I too had a hard time turning my back on what they recommended for my cancer treatment. Perhaps you would feel more confident if you called the Cancer Treatment Center where they are offering and value these treatments. Or better yet maybe your doctor could make that call and get their input. Surely he would respect their opinion on the subject.

My dad has pc with mets to the bones.  he has done vitaminc c iv for a while and stopped but will start back up this month... for - he has an agressive pc and the vitamin c in super high doses did not seem to work for him in the Chemo type way we expected.. BUT it seemed to slow things down and he felt so much better with so much more energy!  Along with all the supplements and diet he is on is what is keeping him going!  So it is definitly worth a try and even if it does not cure hi it is making his body strong!!
