Hi, I'm interested in information about diet recommendations for
people with ovarian ca stage 3c and starting doxil. I was diagn. in
April 07. Had surgery and debulking, went through the taxol and carbo
for 6 treatments, although markers remained in a pretty stable place
during chemo. (pre-surgery in the 60s, pre-cheom and post surgery
in mid 30's, now new norms (20 and below, used to be 30 and below) and
I was higher at 29) My post chemo pet scan showed no increase in
disease but no significant decrease in the tumor markers. So they will
try a regime of Doxil after some renal and heart scans are done. I'm
interested in dietary methods to potentiate the chemo and also effect
the CA. Any advise??
