Sutent Stopped Working, Now On Nexvar

My husband (age 48) has been on Sutent since Feb 5/07.After the Dec.o7 Ct scan all of his tumours had grown in lungs, liver, lymph nodes pancreas and I'm unsure about the vena caver. Anyway, he is now on nexavar. Has anyone followed this route and what were the side effects like. Steve has been fighting this disease for 25 years now  and has always maintained an excellent attitude and lived each good day to the fullest. We won't let this disease or the treatment of this disease dictate our living life to the fullest. In fact we are leaving for 2 weeks in Jamaica with our kids at the end of the month.(may as well feel lousy in 80 degrees as opposed to the freezing weather in Canada now

You're an inspiration to me. My husband was diagnosed only 13.5 months ago. He has had 3 surgeries, nearly bled to death twice, been on Sutent and now on Nexavar, for 2 months. Seems to be helping, he had some foot sores and had to stop for a while but now is back on 3/4 's dose. also is going in for chemo embolization on his liver mets. It's keeping him alive. The Nexavar caused itchy scalp and mild headaches but those have gone away. He uses special shampoo (Tea Tree)
