My Husband Went To Heaven

My husband left this earth and went to eternity on November 10,2007. It took me some time to come to this site. It was a two year battle. We tried everything we where told from natural medicine to chemo and radiation. My prayer tonight is for all of you who are currently suffering from lung cancer. That you would be healed of your sickness if the Lord wills.My husband wanted to live he was 51. He left behind two boys ages 15 and 18. Its so hard I miss  him so much. God bless you and be still and know that God is in control he has a plan for our lives.

Hi Patti,

Today is my first day on this message board and I want to let you know that I am very, very sorry that you have lost your husband!!  My husband also has lung cancer and I can't help but think negative thoughts sometimes.  I have been very, very positive through all of this but sometimes terrible thoughts of losing him come to my mind.  He had his left lung removed in 2006, a tumor removed from his airway in 2007 and now he has a very small tumor in his right (and only) lung.  I choose to stay very hopeful with all the treatments out there but I also know there are devastating stories of loss like yours.  I just don't know what I would do without my husband!!

 You are so right when you say that God has a plan.  I believe this too!!  Doesn't always mean His plan is our plan but we have to trust Him!!  The only thing I can say to you now is to spend time with Him.  He knows your pain and how deep it is!!  He will carry you through this!!  I am so sorry for the pain you are feeling now!!  I really am!!  I will be praying for you, Patti!!  God Bless you and yours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We talked back in June.I am sorry that you are going through this.

My Husband has a very simular case as your husband did.

My husband has done cesium and PH therapy for the last 15 months and has now started tarceva.

His tumor has grown and it is causing him to lose his voice and have some trouble swallowing.

We are hoping the tarceva will help this.

I will pray for you to one day have your joy back.

Lean into the LORD and he will sustain you.
