I finished the day after Thanksgiving. I have my taste back for the most of it, Some things I used to LOVE I can't stand anylonger, Such as Chocolate etc. Thats good right? Well My problem is that I still have no saliva gland working and I can't swallow so easy. I can eat broccilli ok and mac and cheese so long as it is really drippy but when do I get my spit back?????? My saliva has slowly returned. It's now probably 1/2 or so what it was pre-treatment. I take daily evoxac. I had very little appetite for many months post-treatment, but now I am almost eating as much as I did pre-treatment. As hard as it seems, be patient - it sounds like you're doing pretty well so far.
