My sister had breast cancer 11 years ago, to which she under went various treatments, chemo, radiothearpy etc.In 2005 she was given the all clear although other symptons were coming to light, pins and needles in her legs numbness, extreme pain in her back the hospital done a huge number of tests, with nothing, until she was in so much pain not being able to walk an ambulance was called, to cut this short they have dianosed her with having bone and brain mets, which I had never heard of, after searching online, I have come to discover that this apparently is linked to breast cancer or some other primary tumour, although the doctors have told her that she is clear of all tumours, that this is not related to the breast cancer she has had previously, that it is a rare form of cancer which responds well to treatment, they have also said that it is in her spinal cord the cancer cells run up and down her spine via the spinal fluid which in turn puts pressure on her brain. they treated her back with radiotherapy to help allivate the pain but said they cannot concentrate radiothearpy on her brain. this may not make sense so please feel free to ask questions, as what I read on here and many other sites does not match, the way she is or what the doctors have said.
