Its been almost 6 weeks since my dad was diagnosed with rcc with 1 bone met. He had his kidney removed almost 2 weeks ago and we have our appt with the Doc. on Wed. I know he will put him on Sutent and mentioned radiation to the Pelvis.
Does anyone know if both can be done together.? Also, can he continue to take his Vicotin for pain daily when he starts Sutent and Radiation.?
Thank you all for your replies as this site is wear I have obtained my strength to be strong for my dad. He is in such good health that its sometimes still so hard for me to even beleieve this is happening. I pray the drug will work for a while at least and if it doesnt, his suffering is kept to a minimal. I pray for all of you.
