Dr Safran From Brown

Has anyone here heard of Dr Safran or been treated by him? I did my research and he seems to have been around EC for a while and has done a lot of work with it but would like to hear some positive things about him from someone else. My dad just received a diagnosis of stage IVb on January 21 . He showed no signs of the cancer until he had trouble swallowing on the 6th of January and went to get it scoped. Safran is starting treatment on January 30 to hopefully get him to swallow without pain.

I cannot help you with Dr. Safran but I wanted to tell you how sorry I am that your dad has EC. Our dad's stories are very similiar and I remember how overwhelmed, worried, etc. I felt a few days after we got the news.

You've come to the right place for information and support. This board has been a blessing for me and for my dad.

My husband was treated by Dr.Safran for 18 mths.he is a excellent Dr.We had done alot of research he is ranked one of the best in the country and I would certainly have to agree.
