I tell ya though women are sure packrats!! Unbelievable amount of stuff. Oh well so be life i just try to think that the next day i will feel better.  Talk to you all soon.

Hi Mike-It's still so soon to expect to feel better.  Glad work is going well and there is a place to be that isn't a constant reminder of Shannon, and the fact she's gone.  Good your parents are there to help you with clearing things away, and trying to create a new "normal" (I know it will never be normal) life for yourselves.  May you and Alyssa be blessed with the small joys that come each day, starry nights, and happy memories of your time with Shannon.  Stay Well.

Hi Mike:  So glad to hear that work is helping you.  I have not been able to return to the law office where I work.  I am thinking seriously about retiring one year earlier than we originally planned (60).  It is so hard thinking about Robbie and what he went through - we parents all want to "fix" our children and when we can't we don't know how to cope.  I am glad that you have your parents to help you.  I have been helping Maria and the girls and we are trying to make new memories with our "new normal".  Robbie died in October and things still seem so fresh.  It has not even been one month for you - please be gentle with yourself.  Grief and mourning take time or so I am told.  Life seems to on around me.  I am really happy that you and Alyssa are keeping busy - I am too with my granddaughters and 2 other sons.

God Bless Mike and take it one day at a time.

Best wishes

Lynn
