Please help

My dad did very well with diladud suppositories. I know it isn't the most pleasant form of medication, but it worked really well and lasts 8 hours. The hopice had not heard of them before, (he got them at an alternative clinic in CA) but they worked with all of our requests and were able to have their pharmacy make them for us. I feel for you 100%, this is not an easy thing to go through. Hopefully my information can be somewhat beneficial for you.

Thank you for responding.  I got through to his Dr. and he said to give him Miralax every 20 minutes until he has a BM. He took 9 doses. I called the Dr. back and asked when do I stop. He said wait about three hours and he should get some relief.  That worked - in fact eventually had to give him medication for loose stools.
