Subject: Feeling Out Of Options........
Date: 02/06/2008

My mother was diagnosed with abnocarcinoma of unknown origin in June of 07.  For those who don't know what that is, it's stomach cancer in which they can't find the organ generating the cells.  I'm not trying to insult anyone's intelligence, my apologies if I have.

Mom was diagnosed at stage IV and has undergone chemo.  She was diagnosed too late for surgery to be an option so our choices were limited from the beginning.

My mom not has begun vomiting and can't hold down even water.  She's been in and out of the hospital and due to her vomiting, she can't take any of her necessary medications.  I have tried clear liquids, bland foods, baby food and although she is a strong fighter and has refused to allow this disease steal her spirit, it's stealing mine because I am at a loss in terms of what to feed her.

If anyone has taken care of a person at this stage, any recommendations would be very much appreciated.

Thanks Huge.

Hi, sorry about your mom.

I've been doing some research lately about curcumin and it's cancer fighting effects. I'd recommend looking into that.

Here's the best version I've been able to find:

http://www.lef.org/newshop/items/item00407.html

Absorption is an issue but this version claims to be very bio available. Nice thing is that it can't hurt, has no side effects...

You might also check into the budwig diet....

Hope something helps.
