What drugs may help Date: 02/26/2008 I dont know if the Sutent affects the pains meds. No one should be in such agony. Make sure your Drs are giving him the strongest pain relief he can tolerate. Sutent didn't work for him, he is now on Nexivar for about 1 week. His pain is getting worse & worse. His Dr. keeps increasing his pain meds, but they don't really work that well and it makes him feel very out of it. Nobody is giving us any answers, and he is suffering so bad.
