Did anyone try this combination? I'm starting my chemo this week "avastin/xeloda "
I have Colon stage 4 with mets to liver, had colon resection 2 months ago, and depending on the the chemo liver resection will be an option. I started taking Iscador, injected to my legs 3 times a week. also thinking in taking the tea essiac. My oncologist does not agree or believe. Please can you shed some light?
Hi there,
How are you getting on ? My father is 6 months post colon resection and has similar situation with mets to liver and poss lungs. He's been on a regime of Avastin, 5fu and oxaliplatin.
I know people personally who have had been in similiar or worse positions than my father and they have apprarently cleared themselves of all cancer traces. They attribute it to Iscador.
I have been trying to get my father to use iscador for 6months but as Avastin has been a trial drug in the UK, his oncologist has refused to condone its use. My father is part of the generation that still reveres doctors and has obeyed his wishes.
That said, we went to see a Mistletoe practioner yesterday who has convinced my father to start its use in conjection with coventional chemo including avastin. Our concerns have centred around whether there are any conflicts between iscador and avastin. Would be nice to hear from someone who has tried the combination.
I also have my father on a range of supplementary vitamins and nutritions. I have the bottle of essiac tea but he's not got around to taking it as it requires some preparation (boling, cooling etc).
Hope things are going well with you.
Best regards
Hi Chris! Well we are in the same boat, I'm also on Avastin / irrinodescan / Zeloda trial here in Toronto. My Oncologist does not agree on Iscador in conjunction...so I stopped for now. I'm just monitoring the effect of this combination, and so far "NO" effect at all after 3 weeks. I'm very happy and just waiting for my next cat scan to see if the "BEAST" is shrinking or suffocating in a corner of my liver, and I WILL go back to Iscador, regardless of the Dr. opinion! They do not know all, and my gut feeling tells me this can be contained, the chemo will shrink the tumor, Iscador will bust the immune system and resection will be an option. I will never lose hope and so your dad. There are so many success stories with case just like ours!
My brother in law had prostate and melanoma, the Dr. could not do any more for him. He started Iscador, this was 10 years ago, he still kicking and having a good life and still on iscador.... What can I say?
Suzanne Somme's [the actress is also on Iscador and doing well, she recently was on Larry King Live talking about the wonders of Iscador...
My gut felling tell me go for it! CANCER CAN BE BEATEN and "Behind all of this, some great happiness is hiding". Hope your dad is doing just as well as me, keep me posted, I will also buy the Essiac tea, very popular here in Toronto. All the best, Esperanca
Could anyone tell me where I could buy pre mixed essiac tea in the western toronto area - right out to burlington? thanks
yrrab
I have been through so many convential treatments in the last 3 years and at some point they have all failed as the tumor has started growing again. It is breast cancer with mets to the liver. As an aside I also take an essiac tea in an encapsulated form.
I wanted to be part of a clinical trial that the NIH has set up with mistletoe and gemsidabine. On the last day I failed the go-no go test. This test is now in phase II and going well.
The wonderful staff at NIH suggested that I try to get the mistletoe (viscum) which I managed to do. My oncologist immediately started the gemsidabine. In both these cases the two doctors has nothing to say to each other.
I went to a Dr. here in Arizona is listed as a Comprehensive Medical Treatment to get the mistletoe. Dr. who adminsiter this teatment are listed as part of a Anthroposophical society.
Good luck to all and let me know how it goes.
My mother was just diagnosed with small cell carcinoma of the lung. Im curious about mistletoe and where to get it in Arizona.
Also has anyone had any experience with low dose chemo and IPt- Insulin Potentiation Therapy?
Thanks
iscador is something that should be injected subcutaneous, which means in fat. You might have better absorption in your stomach rather than your leg.
You need a prescription to get Iscador, it is usually sold directly from Weleda. IPT i have been taking for over a year, my body became resistant to the drugs over a period of time. It worked drastic wonders in the beginning and now I am on different drugs to try and control my metastasis from breast to the lymph nodes and back. good luck! God bless
