Birth Control After Leep?

Subject: Birth control after LEEP?
Date: 02/11/2008

I have been off of any birth control for a little over a year now.  I have had several abnormal PAP's, 2 colpos, and a LEEP.  Will birth control pills (or the patch, NuvaRing, etc) effect cellular changes in the cervix at all?  Is it a bad idea for someone who has had precancerous changes to take hormonal birth control?   These days I am so careful not to cause myself anymore problems that I am apprehensive about going back on the pill or any other hormone method.  I just want my body to be healthy and free of anything foreign, is that makes sense.
