Has Anybody Used The Natural Japanese Product Called Fucoidan

The Limu Moui (sea plant) is the richest source of Foucidan. There are over 600 scientific/medical researches published today on this amazing nutrient.

When you start you should begin with 2oz per day (1 oz in the a.m. and 1 oz at p.m.) for about 4 days then increase it to 4oz, then 6oz. then 8oz. per day.

Is this product available on line?

You can buy the limu on line for 42.00 a bottle plus s&h. But if you pay 25.00 a year to the company, then that entitles you to get the bottle for 35.00 every month,but you need to buy it from a distributor,its cheaper that way. My family and I have been drinking it for almost three years now. This drink is unbelievable. One of the doctors in the company told my friend that her patient who had cancer of the colon drank 30 ounces of the limu for 3 weeks and went back to the doctors for testing and the cancer was gone.... I believe it because of my own health problems and my friends who drink this amazing drink. It really does work. If you need help in getting it let me know....

Thank you for your mail regarding Fucoidon. When I originally sent out seeking information regarding fucoidon a few months ago (YES I'M STILL KICKING!!!!) my situation being 3A or 3B , having gone into my lympth system, I was trying to find out if anybody had used the product over here in the USA and if they had, what kind of results had they had. Most of the responses that I received were from people trying to SELL me something. I really wanted results first. Since then, my treatments (April thru mid June - '05) of radiation and Chemo helped much for a while, but about 1-1/2 months ago I found out that my lung cancer had spread to my spleen, left kidney and L-4 vertebrae (which is causing the most pain. I then decided to take matters into in my OWN HANDS!!!! I decided to DO THE FUCOIDON THING! But I am buying it from the original source that my Japanese wife talked to me about. It is VERY EXPENSIVE, but I am fortunate there, that we had a little to back us up for this. I have currently used the product for about 4 weeks ago. The only report I have as far as my results are is that my blood levels are A-OK and that after my next chemo session (yes I went back after this new discovery and had 10 sessions of radiation and am currently doing a chemo thing once every 3 weeks), I will be able to have a CT Scan, WHICH I'M VERY ANXIOUS TO FIND OUT, because that will be the first time I will be able to find out the results of what the Fucoidon is doing (I am not talking to my Drs. about the Fucoidon, because they would probably poo-poo it). My energy levels are wonderful. People are remarking how wonderful I look. I'm going to work everyday, and yet last spring, it looked very grim for me. Let's hope the Fucoidon is the answer. If is is, I will be glad to spread the word.

I heard about Fucoidan and ordered The Original Limu product. My niece is a distributor for The Limu company. I am not sure if it really is safe to use. The FDA caused one company in 2003 to destroy all their product.
Do you feel that this product has truly helped you? How much of it did you use? Did you use it during chemo treatment?

I am the main caregiver for my husband. He received radiation and had neck disection for head and neck cancer in August and September of 2005. We found out January, 2006 that the cancer had spread to his lungs, liver and bones. Prognosis without treatment is not good. He started chemo treatments in February and had a hard time with the side effects. He is suffering radiation recall. Secretions 24/7. As a result his throat is very sore. It has not had a chance to heal and since he has severe dysphagia (unable to swallow)there is very little we can do to ease his pain.

This message is for James M. I started using The Original Limu and am giving it to my husband who has head and neck cancer that has metastasized. Your suggestion is to start with 2 oz a day and work up to 8 oz. Why? is it because you are introducing a new product to your system and should go slowly? Do you use it?

I have recently heard that the FDA caused a company to destory all of their fucoidan product. I am not sure if it was because the product was NG or because of the false advertising.

Did you discuss the use of fucoidan with your doctor?

If you or anyone knows if this is really OK to use during chemo treatment, please let me know. This is the second message I have sent regarding this subject and have not heard a response. So any info would be appreciated.

I apologize to you, but I am not any kind of an authority on any of this. When you say Limu, I really don't know what you are talking about, except that it is suppose to have some Fucoidan in it. This Limu is a different product than what I've been taking. I will not endorse any product. What I am taking is very expensive (it's costing me $50 a day). I buy it out of California (my Japanese wife is the one that steered me to this company and I guess they are the original). I do believe that it has helped me in that my cancer has not spread any further, nor has it really increased (increase has been just the slightest and could be the results of before I started taking the product). They took a blood test last week (3/20), and my blood counts were very good. I have been taking it since early January. So having Lung Cancer, especially diagnosed originally at stage 3A or 3B (at the time they didn't know which to classify, but it was in my lympth nodes), i feel very fortunate to be hear a little more than a year later. I have not told my Drs about the product, only because they will poo-poo it (my experience with having tongue cancer in '99). I am using this product thru chemo and when I was taking radiation. I do know that with your husband being treated in the head & neck area, it is so very hard on him (from the neck up is the worst area to be treated - I lost 70 lbs when I had the toungue cancer and still suffer today as a result of all the treatments). All I know about Original Limu is that it is a juice and is supposed to be the first and original fucoidan rich product of its kind. I realize that all companies tout their own product. I would be interested in having information on the product you are using and where you purchased it. Does the company have a website address as well? Yes, I agree with you that head and neck cancer is indeed very painful. I pray every day for my husband.

Thank you for your inquiry. You are correct about Fucoidan being expensive in Japan. Now there is a product that is available in liquid form with a great taste that has 83% pure Fucoidan. In addition there are about 650 scientific studies that have done around the world. These are found on the national medical web base: www.pubmed.org. Just type in fucoidan/cancer and it will pull up all the research. I have some additional information I will gladly send to you.
