Side Effects Of Sutent 50Mg

My father 58 years old was diagnosed with RCC and Metastasis to Lung, Paraaotic LN and left shoulder. He is taking SUTENT 50mg. He just completed his first course (28days) and now will stop for 2 weeks. There are few side effects that he is undergoing - Nose Bleeding, Open Wound in areas like Anus and Groin, Lost of Appetite, Lost weigt, Feeling extremely tired... I tried many ways of cooking but he just dont feel like eating. His taste change and totally not interest to eat. Appreciated if anyone have the same experience and may share it with me as i am really helpless...  Thanks!

Hi! Rachel,  I've just started my third round of Sutent with only a few side effects. I have loss of appetite fatigue and dry skin. the first round gave me high blood pressure, but that hasn't been a problem since. It can also change color of hair and skin. Other than that it's been a big help keeping the cancer under control. the side effects seem to lessen in time so hang in there  Take Care    John
