Subject: Nei Kung for leukemia
Date: 02/18/2008

I've learned a very old form of kung fu (about 2,200 years old) that employs a system of exercises called nei kung (aka nei gong, noi cong).  (Nei kung means "internal exercise".)  This kind of kung fu is called Hong Gia kung fu.  I began practicing Hong Gia over eleven years ago.  One long-standing claim of the masters of Hong Gia is that the practice of nei kung causes the body to produce a high level of new red blood cells in the bone marrow.

To my knowledge, no one has ever substantiated this claim with scientific research.  I've been attempting for some time to get this research started, with no success.  So I thought I'd simply offer to teach nei kung to people with leukemia and other blood-related cancers, as these people could possibly benefit from this practice more than the rest of us.  That's why I'm posting this message.

If you have leukemia (or another blood-related cancer), are interested in learning this form of exercise, and reside in the Northern Orange County/ Southern L.A. County area in Southern California, please contact me.  My e-mail address is

.  I'll also be making a nei kung DVD later this year, for those who are interested but don't live in the area.

I make no claim as to the effects the practice of nei kung will have on leukemia, but if the masters of Hong Gia kung fu are correct, nei kung may actually have the power to force the cancer into submission (or even eliminate it entirely!).  I aim to find out what the real effects of nei kung on leukemia (if any) are.
