I was diagnosed 3 yrs ago with this type of cancer. Based on my research I feel as though there is a connection between being stationed in Okinawa and this type of cancer. My husband was diagnosed 34 yrs. after returning from Vietnam. What kind of work did you do while there? Jeanie, I don't know about the connection in okinawa, but if you would be so kind as to give me an update on your cancer. My mom has this same cancer & they can not operate because the tumor is covering her arteries. So they are doing chemo-Gemzar & Radiation. Please give any info you might have on this terrible cancer.
