Kanglaite Injection (KLT) is a novel type double function and broad spectrum anti-cancer formulation with its active substance derives from the seeds of a natural plant "Semen Coicis". Produced with world advanced technology and GMP standard KLT is in emulsion form for intravenous and intra-arterial infusion. It is made in China.
KLT is clinically effective not only in directly killing various cancer cells but also markedly improving patients immune function. KLT has been demonstrated to effectively relieve cancerous pain and advanced cachexia, minimize clinical symptoms, improve patients quality of life and extend their survival period. Numerous clinical cases have proven that the anti-cancer effect of KLT is much similar to other first-line chemotherapy agents, however, it has no obvious side effect. Phase I clinical study in USA has been successfully completed in Sept., 2002 and a multi-center international clinical study is being implemented which will form a solid basis for Phase III study in USA to be approved by FDA in the near future. In Dec., 2003 KLT obtained registration certificate from Russia Ministry of Health and has been launched in Russia in 2005.
