Subject: Mom Just Diagnosed With Cancer in The Spine, breast, liver, any Advice?
Date: 05/27/2005
I'm 21 and my mom is in her late 40's. She had had back pain for about siz months her doctor told her she was overweight. She finally talked him into giving her an MRI last week. He did and it came back she has cancer in her spine, breast cancer, cancer in her liver and adrenal gland. We just found this all out yesterday it is level four. Other than the cancer she is very health her doctors say. She has already started radiation today and will be getting chemo in a couple weeks. Does anyone have any advice for me for what I can expect?

And most of it is well-intentioned...I want to give some I know you can use! I'm sorry I did not see this a month ago. First, where are you, or more to the point, in what physical area of the world is your Mom being treated? Much more to come, Michael L M., ND

My mom just got diagnosed with stage 4. I think lung cancer, we did the biopsy yesterday. It is in her liver, kidney, a huge mass in her lung and in her lymphnodes around her lung and her rib. She has been give poss 2 months. They are suggesting chemo but I am afraid that will make her suffer and take away precious time. Does anyone have an opinion. Also, does anyone know the best hospice in NYC? What should I feed her. SHe has no appitite. What is good for pain?

Subject: "end"? Does Life End?
Date: 07/01/2005
I'm sorry it is so "late" in the "game"; amd I would not give you false hope(I know that there have not been any successes w/burn/poison techniques when they SAY "only 2 months"!!)However, nothing is too hard for the Lord! Meantime, yeast "broth", mebbe apple-carrot-celery juice, dilute w/pure H2O.(Try to find her structured water, as its better in hydration, O2 transport, & alkalinization.)HBOT, hyperbaric oxygen therapy would be wonderful(cancer cells cannot live in an oxygen-rich, or alkaline environment!). She may not want to drink, but may sip, all day, to "get enough". Probiotics, to help her digestive system, and a full-spectrum, PRE-DIGESTED amino-acid supplement(powdered can be just as effective, and often more pleasant than preliquified)will provide a more appealing substance to sip, and provide recovery-nourishment! Of course, she needs whole-food source, enzymatically active vitamns, and plant-source, amino-chelated minerals, as well.
A homeopathic lymph stimulant will aid the (nearly defeated)lymphatic system, which cannot move unless we do, or improvise via homeopathy!
It would be time for one of the very dramatic stage IV therapeutics, such as Cesium Chloride,
but since you are in/near NYC, may I commend to you the services of Strang Cancer Center, NY Presbyterian Hosp, Complementary Care Center. SL.KET. would likely be worse than you've already encountered. See cancertutor.com for over 15 effective stage IV therapies. May the Lord guide and comfort you as you seek the best for your loved one, as only He can, and no matter what, know that you have done what you could!Sincerely, MLM, ND PS: We could add a great deal: If she's stable in a week or so, a little milk thistle, alfalfa,
CoQ10 & Coenz-A, ALA, Beta 1,3-D-glucan,IP6, SAMe
TMG, SOD, MSM, DMG, all the "antioxidants"(a misnomer!), and essential fatty acids should be added....let me know!MLM
Subject: my Mom is Being Treated in Michigan
Date: 07/01/2005
My mom is getting her treatment in Kalamazoo, Michigan. They told her that she wasnt' going to need chemo and then two days later told her that her breast cancer gene came back as her2new positive so they were going to start the chemo right away and her back pain got worse so they sent her to bronson hospital and did another MRI and seen that part of her spine was shattered. So they immediatley did surgery and she stayed for a week in the hospital she's been home a little over a week and the physical therapists that have been comming to the house said she is doing great. They put two titanium rods in her back with cages going around them and the spine I guess they say she will be back to normal soon They are going to wait and start the chemo now until the back heals a little better in about two or three weeks.

Subject: Glyconutrients Are a God-send!
Date: 07/10/2005
Julie T, I am sorry your mom is suffering as she is. I truly wish her and your family well. I feel obligated to share what I learned recently about glyconutrients. I have become convinced beyond any doubt that a blessing has been given unlike anything our modern (and rather toxic) world has seen. Ignore the critics (if there are any) and research the science for yourself. There are thousands of research articles, studies, reports and ingredient reviews explaining everything you need to know about these essential monosaccharides at glycoscience.org. I signed up as a Mannatech distributor to have access to these products for my family and myself. I don't want your money. I just want to share what I found. There are no order forms or testimonies at that site. This is designed by Nanotech (at a huge expense) to provide anyone with the information they need to understand the scientific discoveries in this field. About your Mom, many people have completely overcome even advanced cancer of almost every kind as a result of using these nutrients (combined with conventional treatments)(Yes, medically documented). These guys (for now) have the best in the world (Others claim it, but most likely don't. Patents, proprietary, ethics, cutting-edge standardization etc.) The recoveries are astonishing. Massive stem cell production results from use (medically proven). The immune system is elevated to a level that allows the body to heal from seemingly impossible injury and illness (Medically proven) Sadly some of Mannatechs 'best' critics (so it appears) are terribly un-informed, or they profit from sickness and drugs. These are my own views and opinions and no one else’s...(Yeah, right:)) God Bless!

Get her the book "There's No Place Like Hope-managing cancer in mind sized bites" by Vicki Gerard. Get her on Essiac tea asap and cut out all sugar from her diet, except for fresh fruits. Tumors are sugar feeders. Starve them. If she get an intravenous chemo, don't let them use dextrose to dilute it with. Dextrose is sugar water, make them use saline if possible. If it's OK with her doctor's, put her on a high dose of vitamin C. They say that cancer cells see vitamin C as sugar, eats it up then the vitamin C destroys it. Can't hurt right?
She is going to be extremely tired. Tell her to listen to her body and sleep when she needs to sleep. Keep reassuring her that she can beat it. A good attitude makes all the difference in the world with survivors. Another must read book is "Beatng Cancer with Nutrition" by Patrick Quillin. Keep the Faith!

Subject: Juicing & Protein Shakes

Get the best book on juicing for cancer and by a juicer. Add sugar free protein powder to the mix. Lots of green leafy vegatables, fruits, whole grains and flax meal. She'll get the nutrients that way. Chemo takes they're taste buds away so they don't feel hungry.
Look into Essiac tea also-check out essiac-info.com(org) It's done wonders for my husband.

Subject: Mom Was Recently Diagnosed.....cont'd!

Some great advice in this set of entries! The reason I asked about location was to suggest some professional help for your Mom. If you are in Michigan, there is a Cancer Treatment Center North of Chicago, in Zion, Illinois, almost right on lake Michigan. They do more things right than any of the institutions the HMO's will send you to, and make you and your Mom feel like people of worth while they're about it! They have the best recovery rates in the nation, and I still recommend them, despite that they will not hire me(sniff, sniff); but refer many to me for counselling every week!!(go figger!)Be alert enough to refuse things that are harmful, and resourceful enough to make use of eveything that can help! We need always to do any & everything we can when our cells have "gone-crazy", as they are as sick as they can be, and still be living while in this state! If you will do all you can, seek the Lord, and keep a positive attitude, you will be as assured of success as it is humanly possible to be! Remember: less acid, more alkaline/more oxygen = defeated cancer!!! Blessings, MLM, ND
