Breasts Lift?

Subject: breasts lift?

I'm thinking about having a breast lift done on my unaffected breast so it matches my affected one more.  That is if I can afford it.  Has any one done this?  Does it cost less having one breast done and than two?  I'm curious.

Thanks,

just for your information Federal law says insurance companys have to pay for reconstruction and also surgeries to make your breast the same. i have been going through my reconstruction and my breast lift is covered.

speak to your insurace carrier if they say no ask them about the federal law i did .good luck to you

I live in NJ but I believe it was a federal ruling that mandates insurance companies to pay not only for mastectomies due to cancer but reconstruction surgery not only of the affected breast but the other breast to balance.  I actually had lost a lot of breast tissue due to two biopsies, a lumpectomy and an infection and underwent reconstruction by the way of implants in both breasts.  So, the answer is yes.  I went to a plastic surgeon affiliated with the hospital where I had the surgery.   I've been very happy with the results. I also had radiation to the affected breasts before surgery.
