Sorry to hear the difficult dx your brother received. Unfortunately, Stage IV bile duct usually can't be resected. Dr. Canady has a reputation of doing surgeries even when others won't, but its important to find out how long those patients lived after the surgery. My sister also has Stage IV klatskins and the only silver lining to this otherwise grey grey cloud is that it is a slower growing tumor and that does give more time. Good luck and here's hoping to hear good things only.

Sorry it took so long to reply, I understand the sucess rate on Dr.Canady,s surgeries is more then 50%,and if thats the only options then we need to try (right),I also am sorry to here about your sister,I will say a prayer for her.This a very hard time in my families life as in others I,m sure,we are asking for all prayers,and if anyone else has a positive input ,please reply.
