Hi to everyone,

My Mum was diagnosed with late stage localised PC for which surgery is not an option.

Obviously I am looking at everything that is possible to support Her, both curative and pallative.  I have read so much about the Budwig Diet and also B17 suppliments.

Does anyone have any information or personal experiences with these or other such alternative natural treatments.

Thanking everyone in advance for their help.

Paul

Unfortunately, there is no cure for locally advanced pancreatic cancer.

Chemoradiation is often useful to prevent localized complications of the tumour, but does not extend life.

Chemotherapy can be tried for palliation of symptoms, and may prolong life a little (~6 months on average).

High dose melatonin (20 mg every evening) and fish oil (EPA) 2 g daily have been shown to slow down the almost universal weight loss associated with pancreatic cancer.
