Sutent- Skin Color Changes?

My father is on cycle 2 of sutent. I have noticed some skin color changes (i.e. lightening of skin, a slight yellowish appearance)... is this normal? anyone else experienced this?

 Please advise.

 Your question on the color changes is normal. Also will notice if he has somewhat grey hair it will get more grey looking while on the sutent.

I took Sutent for 18 months. It turned my hair from gray to white...  ALL of it !!!

Hi! I am starting my third round of Sutent tomorrow. Yes there are skin color changes and hair also, but how's he doing otherwise?                    Jon

What everyone is saying about Sutent is true. It does change the skin color and yep, Dave's hair and mustache are turning white. Watch out for the hand/foot syndrome. Dave would get it about 10 days after starting the cycle. It would start with little paper type cuts on his fingers and then start getting very painful and would peel. When the doctors reduced the dosage, it almost completely went away. Fatigue is the most common conplaint.

My dad just finished his 9th round of Sutent and within the first two rounds, his hair and beard turned completely white.  His skin changes colors... sometimes kind of yellow, sometimes grey, sometimes flushed like he's been in the sun, others very pale... during the two weeks off, he usually looks pretty normal.  Good luck with the sutent though!  His real complaint is the sore mouth and easily upset stomach along with the fatigue in the 3rd and 4th week.  Prayers and best wishes!

I've been on Sutent for about a year now.  It's turned ALL the hair on my body white, even my eye lashes.  (The get dark again when I'm in the 2 week off period, so I have dark roots and white tips - it makes for a rather odd look!)  It's also caused my hair to thin somewhat and I'm more sensative to sunlight.
