Thank G-d! His oncologist felt a suspicious lump in his neck and ordered a PET scan ( the second in three months) to test for reoccurrence. It came back negative, so he's still in remission. This month actually marks the one year anniversary for him on being cancer free. Just thought I'd share the good news. Gotta love those negative scans. I just had my 4 month CT scan come back negative, so I know how good it feels. What a roller coaster, huh. It seems like no matter how many postive scans my hubbie gets the 48 hrs b4 each test brings him back to day one! It just goes to show again, that we are always expected the worst but yet, things continue to get better. I know how it feels because my husband is entering his fifth year now clear from nasophyrangeal cancer.
