Sorry I did not respond sooner but I have not checked the message board lately.My Husband has had the device you are asking about for 3 yrs now and has had no problem with it.As a matter of fact it has made his life better as he is only has a "leakage"when he coughs,sneezes or lifts something heavy.Before he was going though at least 2 shields a day,now it is only one and that is not usually very wet. I do recommed,If his doctor does not mention it,that he register with Medicalert. as he can not be catherized unless the device is deactivated and Medicalert will have the info on file as how to do that.
