I had a 10 hour surgery on Jan. 28, 2008. Boot or Root of Panceras was removed along with Kidney, Spleen, Adro. Gland. part of intestine, and part of         . CT scan on March 3, 2008 shows nothing except 2 small pools of liquid. one by panceras and one somewhere else.  I am to see a Kemo doctor in a week. Does anyone know what I should expect? Does the CT scan mean the cancer is gone?  What is normally the next proceedure.  My dorctor is at OHSU in Portland and my family doctor is not very knowledgeable of cancer.   Thanks for any ifo.  ED.

Ed,

I didn't have the same type surgery as you, so I can't really help with your questions.  I know there are several people who post on the Johns Hopkins site that have had your type surgery, and they should be able to help.  You may want to try posting your question there as well.
