Freelite Chain Assay

Subject: Freelite Chain Assay

The information in the www.myeloma.org handbook on Freelite Chains states that the freelite test should show Ultra Quant on the lab results.  At the www.amyloidosis.org website, the only lab listed that has Ultra Quant mentioned is the Specialties Lab in Santa Montica, CA.  All of my serum Freelite Chain tests (Kappa/Lambda) are done by Sonora Diagnostics Lab in CA.  What is the real difference in these tests?  Is the test that shows Ultra Quant on he lab results the best one and the newest one?
