Many of the chemo drugs can cause mouth sores. In my case Erbitux was the drug and it makes your mouth a mess. :) What they prescribed for me is what they call "Magic Mouthwash" yes that is the name on the prescription. :) It is a combination of drugs that you take a tablespoon swish it around in your mouth for a minute and then swallow it. Yummmy, I mean yuck. :) It has benedryl in it, pregnazone (spelling) and some other drugs.) my instructions were 4 times a day after each meal and don't eat for an hour after using it. Not sure you have the same situation but I certainly share your pain in trying to eat with a sore mouth. Takes the fun right out of food. :)
