Hpv Negative Hgsil??

I am going to have a LEEP on Friday. I am very confused. I have all my pap reports and biopsy report in front of me now....Since the HPV test available 3 years ago, I have this test done every time came back HPV Negative during the past 3 years.
Last Oct. I have ASCH pap, then I had Biopsy....the result is LGSIL.

1/21/08 pap is HGSIL. CIN2. HPV still Negative.

I read 98% of cervical cancer caused by HPV virus. So I am among the 2% of unclassified patients?

I've been married for 6 years and my husband and I are too busy with our two small children to having sex....I meant we are faithful to each other.

What is your family health history?

None of my family has cervical/ovarian cancer.

Has your doctor discussed the possibilities in full detail with you? If you're not getting a satisfactory explanation, get a different doctor whose expertise you would be more comfortable with. You might also want to check with any clinics in town that would have information for you. I am curious. Did you have the new HPV DNA test done? I asked my doctor for it, and I'm glad I did.
