Mild Back Pain

Hi,

 Has anyone out there with MM suffered back pain while in remission.

Just recently I have been experiencing some discomfort in my back. There has been some deterioriation because of the MM and I am wondering if  it ostio or just weakness of the back rather than reoccurance of the MM causing this discomfort.

May I suggest you get an MRI if you have insurance just to make sure. I sometimes have a few back spasms but not ongoing pain.  How often do you get checked.  Sometimes the first symptoms are pain, not to say you are not still in remission.  MM is really a knarly disease so get it checked out.  All the best mms

Hi - I am also in remission but x-ray shows 50% deterioration of a disc due to MM. I am going to see a doctor this week re: an injection that solidifies the disc and hopefully reduces the pain. I talked to a woman yesterday at local support group who has had two of these injections and said they work great. I wish I knew the technical name for the procedure. I will after seeing doc.
