My friend was told she has mild dysplasia but does not have the HPV virus. Her doctor has set up a colopscopy. Is her doctor proceeding in the right direction or do others take a wait and see approach.

In my experience it sounds normal to me..My colpo is scheduled for Apr 23rd..That was the next step after my abnormal pap..

Your friend's doctor is taking the right step. With an abnormal PAP smear, a colposcopy and biopsy is very appropriate to do.
