I Am Wondering About Precancer

i am 18 i just had a precancer removel from my cervic, i was thinking can i still have kids? what kind of operation did i have? dose the precancer come back?will it affect my kids?

I am not sure what you mean by "what kind of Opertation did I have"....your Doctor should have explained that to you. What was your results...where you CINI? CINII,? CINIII?. You probably had a LEEP proceedure...that is most common. If you had a Hysterectomy..which I am sure you would have remembered that..then no you can't have kids. But if you had a LEEP you will still be able to have kids. The doctor will monitor you and make sure the dysplasia doesn't come back.

It really depends  where the dysplastic cells where located and how much of the lesions where found on what they did to remove the displastic cells. You need to get more infor from your doctor. Dysplasia is very common and very treatable. BUT you and your doc need to stay on top of it and keep all your appointments.

Did your doctor discuss the type of dysplasia you had and how extensive it was? Did you see the lab results? Did your doctor tell you whether you had cold knife cone biopsy, cryosurgery, laser, or LEEP? Did your doctor discuss follow-up appointments? If there was no communication between your doctor and you about all of this, fire that doctor immediately and hire a new one who is direct, honest, and caring. It's your body. No doctor should do anything to it without a full discussion with and approval from you. I can't stress how important it is for you to know exactly what happened to you and how to protect yourself going forward.
