I had liver cancer that spread to bones. I was there for 4 weeks and at the end of my treatment my AFP went from 5,200 to 101, but did not know extent of lesions to bone. When I got home my oncologist did a PET scan and he confirmed that my lesions in the liver were almost gone, shoot they are gone now. My lesions on hip are now gone and I just have a spot on leg, which has not grown at all. My oncologist was shocked because he only gave me weeks to live, he called the doctor over in Santa Barbara and tried to get the extent of treatment plan but they were vague with him. He sends all his liver cancer patients to them now because he says chemo does not work for this cancer. I really owe them my life or what life so far they have given me. I would go to them, I saw many people have the same results. I still stay in touch with some of them. Not all of them had amazing results like me but we were all stage 4. After thinking about all of this I am surprised more cancer centers don't follow in their footsteps. Best of luck in your decision, it saved my life.
