my husbands father has carcinoma of the parotid gland. he just started perifosine once a day a week ago and i wondered if there is anyone that has any news on the outcome of their loved ones who took this pill. any long term(2 or more years later) results. any info is greatly appreciated. the address is my mother-in-laws. we will greatly appreciate any info. he did start his with his evening meal so he hasn't had any nasua or anything. this is a recurrance. he had gland removal surgery almost 10 years ago. he underwent radiation therapy. we are hoping with this pill and prayer he will be ok. he is being treated by the mary crowley cancer institute associated with baylor. thank you
