I took our 20 mth old son to our GP today as we have noticed his left testical was swollen, my partner also checked him for lumps and was semi convinced he felt something.
The GP had a good feel and my son screamed like mad.
The GP said he has fluid around the testie and that it is common in babies(iv never heard that before though).
He said to be on the safe side he wants him to have an ultra sound performed and then a decision can be made on how to deal with it.
He was very cagy and didnt tell me alot.
My partner had a testie removed due to cancer 3 and a half years ago, so you can imagine the thoughts that are going on in our minds.
As well as that my partner has a son from a previous relationship who was diagnosed with lukiemia at roughly the same age (he has been in remmision for 7yrs).
Has anyone else heard of this or am i reading to much into the Gps silence.
