My brother who lives in a 3rd world country has been diagnosed with
Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors. After removing the tumor, his doctor has prescribed him Sunitinib(Sutent). This drug is going to cost approximately $6,000 for a 28 day regimen. He is supposed to take this drug for 8 months. He is income is low. His insurance will pay 1/10 of the cost. My question is if anyone knows where this drug can be purchased at a lower cost or if there is an alternative drug to Sunitinib.
